We're all already having daydreams of Chris Paul lobs to Blake Griffin for 1080 dunks. And while that's hard to put out of the brain right now, the real thing we should be wondering about is if the Clippers -- yes, the Los Angeles Clippers -- have just emerged as a legitimate championship contender?Any time you add a player like Chris Paul and you have a legitmate super star like Blake Griffin people are going to start wondering if you can take it all.The answer is No!!close but not ready yet and the reason is look at the starting five.Blake Griffin,Chris Paul,Coron Butler,Deandre Jordan,Randy Foye.Now they are starting 2 all stars and that will get you at least in the conversation but there is a major hole in the 2 guard position.If they could have gotten Eric Bledsoe now you talking about enough fire power to beat any one.Problem is they dont have enough depth since Butler is comng back from a major knee injury and who is behind Paul right now no one.The Clippers are still looking for some more pieces definitly looking to see who they can get for Mo Williams.One thing that might make a difference is can Chauncy Billups slide into the 2 guard position if any one can do it I think Chauncy can.This makes for a interesting and exciting NBA season.
